Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Rural Technology) University of Queensland
• Certified Practising Agriculturalist (CPAg)

Sten has extensive experience in the practical management of farming systems, including varietal selection, land preparation, irrigation management, equipment operations, weed and insect control, budgeting and marketing. He has undertaken development consulting projects and loss investigations internationally involving both local and foreign aid funds, and on behalf of Reinsurers, necessitating significant liaison with both private and government sector interests. Sten has a very strong rural focus and understanding of fundamental farming issues involving a broad range of crop and agri enterprises. He is now chiefly responsible for the Group’s crop loss adjustment operations and has Board responsibility for network development.
